Tuesday
9:30 AMWorld of Women (WOW)
World of Women  (WOW) is a group that meets on Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am designed for international and American women to meet one another as they learn ESL stuff, practice cooking and other home making skills and talk about life in America from a woman's perspective. If you cannot stay for the whole period you're welcome to come for whatever time you may have free. It is free and open to all international women. Unfortunately, we do not provide childcare. It will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

1:00 PMEasy English Class
Easy English Class is a more structured experience for people in the earlier stages of learning English. Spouses and scholars may find these classes helpful. An American instructor meets with a small group of internationals to review stories, practice pronunciation and to conduct repetitive language drills.  The classes are held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 to 2 pm. They are free and open to any international. They will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
 
Classes are held in the International Friends Center, Suite 1900 of University Place Apts. (1205 University Ave.) A 5 story brick apartment building near the corners of University and College Avenues.

7:00 PMEnglish Conversation Groups
English Conversation Groups meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm and again at 8:15 pm with one or two Americans leading a small group of 5-10 international students or Scholars in conversational English. Each group leader may have a different approach so you may wish to attend various groups until you find one you like. These groups are free and open to any international student, scholar or family member.

Wednesday

6:30 PMKids Bible Club
Kids Bible Club is held each Wednesday  from 6:30 to 8 pm for international children from Kindergarten to 5th grade. . The kids start off at one of three activity tables (coloring sheet, games and puzzles or some physical activity) then we come together to hear a Bible story, have a memory verse and a missionary story followed by a review game and then we give out a prize to take home (candy, cupcake, etc.)
 
Since public schools are conducting online classes we've decided to do our weekly Kids Bible Club on Zoom this semester from 6:30 to 7:15 pm.

Friday
7:00 PMFriday Night Bible & Pizza Party
We meet every Friday starting Friday August 28 from 7 to 9 pm in the International Friends Center, Suite 1900 of University Place Apartments (1205 University Ave.) to have a pizza (vegetarian, sausage & pepperoni), desserts, soft drinks, then we sing a couple of songs and then break up into multiple Bible discussion groups to explore the life and teachings of the Jesus and the Bible.
