We’re Tim and Gina Bailey, and we can’t wait to meet you!

We stepped into the leadership of International Friends Columbia in the summer of 2025, accepting the baton of ministry from Craig and Shirley Colbert, who began this incredible ministry in 1986. We’ve been married since 1997, have two young adult children and a dog, and have spent our entire married life here in Columbia, Missouri.

With Tim’s background in IT and love for theology, coffee, and fishing, and Gina’s years in education and love for walks, coffee, and connecting with friends, we enjoy using our unique experiences and gifts to serve this community. We’re passionate about creating a warm, fun, and welcoming space where visiting scholars, students, and their families can build friendships, practice English, experience American culture, and learn more about God.
